							The Miss Heart of Plant City Scholarship Pageant is a non-profit, scholarship program and also a preliminary competition for the Miss America Organization.  We pride ourselves on Scholarship, Success, Style and Service.  Unlike most pageants, young ladies score 75% of their overall pageant score during the talent and interview phases.  These two phases exemplify the importance of education, self confidence and overall poise in a young lady.  Over the years the Miss America Organization has been intent on making a difference in people's lives through their charitable and community endeavors.  Miss America is the world's largest provider of scholarship assistants for young women.  The progam exists to provide personal and professional opportunities for young women and to promote their voices on culture, politics and the community. The Miss Heart of Plant City organization brings these same opportunities to the young ladies of Plant City.  We, the board, would llike to continue to provide these young ladies with the opportunity to further themselves through the Miss America Organization and also to provide them with scholarship assistance to further their educations.  However, these opportunities are not possible without community support. We need your support and assistance to help us to provide these young ladies the possiblity of fulfilling their dreams.  Who knows where the next Miss America or Miss Teen America will come from?  It could very possibly be one of our own "hometown" girls from Plant City.  Will you be able to say that you helped her fulfill her dreams? We are looking for business sponsors to donate:  money, goods, services, and/or time as a volunteer.  All sponsorship amounts, regardless of size are very greatly appreciated.  We have however created four levels of sponsorship.  These levels and what you will receive in return for your donation are listed on the Sponsorship Levels and Benefits Page.  If you are able to help support us or if you would like more information, please feel free to contact any of our Directors by clicking on their name below.  If you would like to mail your suppport check, please make it payable to Miss Heart of Plant City and mail it to 11715 Taylor Road, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592.  Because we are a non-profit company, donations are tax deductible as charitable contributions.
