MISS HEART
OF PLANT CITY
All requirements must be met by specified dates to be a contestant.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a young lady 17-23 years of age
- Must be a High School Senior or in College
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must be a Florida resident living or attending school in Hillsborough or Polk County
- Must meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America’s Organization
- Must be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements
- Must be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by
Miss Heart of Plant City Pageant
- Must raise a minimum of $100 for the Children's Miracle Network before the pageant
- Community Service is required on the local level.
- A national platform is required on the local level.
- Sponsorship Ad - $200.00
Other Requirements:
Each contestant must provide a 2x3 photo (headshot) and a 4x6 photo (judges book) of themselves with a label on the back stating the contestants name and age. Photographs will NOT be returned.
The date of the next pageant is March 15, 2008. On pageant day we ask for a full day’s commitment from each contestant. You will be notified of your morning interview time prior to the day of the pageant. Rehearsals will be March 14, 2008. This rehearsal will consist of stage directions and a walk through for entrances and exits. Hostesses will be back stage to assist you during the pageant. Please arrange to have someone assist you after the pageant so we can leave the building as soon as possible.
Talent music is to be turned in at registration on February 12, 208. You must provide us with two (2) copies in CD format labeled with your name and contestant number. NO TAPES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
You will find a link to the forms that you need to sign and return, as well as other information that you will need to know.
The following items are due at registration on February 12, 2008 at the Red Rose Inn between 6:00 - 8:30 pm:
Application, Sponsorship Ad and Fees, Talent CD's, Platform, Production Form, and Photos. The Children's Miracle Network Funds are to be paid by March 14, 2008.
